TheCorps - Liga Internationaler HauptstadtKontakte

As the umbrella federation of public diplomacy in Germany TheCorps - League of International Capital Contacts brings together business, politics and diplomacy onto a common stage. TheCorps connects diplomats and coordinates organizations like the Ambassadors Club Germany or the Federation of Press Attachés in Germany.
TheCorps offers embassies its unique competence in intercultural communication and gives the public and the media access to a formerly insular society. TheCorps publishes a range of special-interest-titles and its editorial office supports journalists in their research.
The task is to present Berlin to international multipliers as a city open to the world and as an attractive place for businesses. TheCorps helps diplomats to step out of their micro cosmos and to create opportunities for them to get in touch with German society.

"A reportage writer should be a speaker for justice, kindness and hope, according to the idea that the business of philosophy is not merely to understand the world, but to change it. Reportage should help us change our morbid world: first to change our ideas, then to change our world."Zhao Xinshan (jury member 2004)
